How it works

Three questions, one mailing, a record you keep.

From order to archive, this is exactly what happens when you buy a notice. Nothing here requires you to understand the technology or the law. You give us your name and your state; we do the rest and show you the proof.

Step by step

From checkout to delivery

  1. You answer three questions

Your legal name, your state of residence, and, if you want one on the notice, a title (Dr., Rev., and so on). That is all that appears on the notice. We do not ask for your date of birth, an ID number, or health information.

  2. We prepare your notices

One notice per recipient, in your name, each with a unique ID in the form BS-2026-04-00001. Brain Shield notices go to 49 companies and cite 20 patents by number. Signal Shield notices go to 33 entities and cite the remote-sensing appendix.

  3. Your notices join a batch

Notices are mailed in batches so that each recipient receives one consolidated package containing every customer's notice from that window, with a master index on top. A company cannot claim a single letter was lost in the mailroom when it signed for a package listing every notice inside. The current mailing window is shown at checkout.

  4. Certified mail to every registered agent

Each package goes by USPS certified mail to the recipient's registered agent for service of process, the address every state requires a company to maintain for formal correspondence. International recipients receive notice at their published headquarters. Where a company publishes a privacy contact address, a copy goes there by email as well.

  5. The affidavit is sworn

After the batch is mailed, a notarized affidavit of mailing is executed describing what was sent, to whom, and when.

  6. Your delivery archive is assembled

You receive access to your permanent delivery archive: the notices, the master index, the proof of service, the certified mail tracking and delivery confirmations, the affidavit, the supplementary emails, and the archive's own access log. Seven layers, kept for you.

What a notice does

Constructive notice, in plain words

When a company receives formal written notice at the address it maintains for exactly that purpose, and signs for it, the company is on record as having been told. Lawyers call this constructive notice. It does not by itself stop anyone from doing anything. What it does is fix a date, before any collection took place, on which you refused consent and the company knew it.

Whether and how that matters later depends on the law in your state at the time and on facts nobody can predict today. 4 states already define neural data as sensitive data that requires consent before collection; they are listed on the Laws page.

We do not promise a legal outcome. We promise that the notice exists, that it went to the right address, that a person signed for it, and that you hold the proof. Ediflo.AI, LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice; if you want advice about your own situation, speak with a licensed attorney in your state.
