Is this legitimate?
Yes. A formal written notice, delivered to a company’s registered agent and signed for, is one of the oldest instruments in American commerce. Brain Shield prepares that notice in your name, cites 30 patent documents by number, and delivers it by certified mail with proof of service. What it creates is a documented record that you refused consent before any collection took place. Whether and how that record matters later depends on the law where you live and on facts nobody can predict today. Does this stop companies from collecting my data?
No notice stops a machine. What a delivered notice does is remove any later claim that you consented, fix the date on which the company knew, and give you the proof. Think of it the way a landlord thinks of a certified letter: the point is that they signed for it.
Do I need a lawyer?
Not to order. You answer three questions and we do the rest. If you ever need to act on the notice against a specific company, that is when an attorney helps, and your delivery archive gives them everything: the notice, the index, the tracking, the affidavit.
What if I already use these companies’ products?
The notice says in plain terms that your continued use of any device, platform or network is not consent to the collection or decoding of your neural data. You do not have to throw out your headphones or cancel your carrier for the notice to stand.
What about data already collected?
Brain Shield is pre-emptive. It refuses consent to future collection by technology these companies have patented, funded or published but not deployed to the public. Deletion demands for data already held are a separate product built on state deletion rights, and we will offer it separately rather than blur the two.
Is this for people who believe the technology is being used on them right now?
No. We do not claim any company is reading anyone’s mind today, and the evidence does not support that claim. If you believe you are being harmed now, that is a matter for a physician or an attorney, and this service is not designed for it.
Is my information safe with you?
We practice what the product preaches. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Checkout runs on the payment provider’s infrastructure. We use your name and state only to prepare your notices, and we do not sell or share customer data.
What do the companies do when they receive it?
Most corporate legal departments log a notice and file it. Some send an automated privacy response. Few reply directly, and they do not need to: the signed receipt is the record. What they can no longer do is say they were never told.
What is the difference between Brain Shield and Signal Shield?
Brain Shield covers the 49 companies building brain-reading hardware and software: implants, headbands, earbuds, wristbands, and the large technology companies holding neural patents. Signal Shield covers the 33 entities behind sensing the body through the air: 6G equipment makers, carriers, tower owners, DARPA N3 contractors, university research review boards, and the FCC. The bundle covers all 82.
Can I add companies?
Not yet. The recipient lists are fixed so that every notice in a batch is identical in scope and the record is clean. A custom add-on is planned. In the meantime, every recipient is listed with the documented reason it is named on the Companies page.
What about companies outside the United States?
Recipients headquartered abroad receive notice at their published headquarters address. Several are on the list now: InteraXon in Canada, g.tec in Austria, Brain Products in Germany, Bitbrain and INBRAIN in Spain, MindMaze and Neurosoft in Switzerland, Cortical Labs in Australia, and four Chinese developers.
Why $49?
Because the research, the registered-agent lookups and the delivery system were built once. Your payment covers preparing your notices, the certified mailing, and your archive. Notices are mailed in batches so that each company receives one consolidated package, which is what keeps the price where it is.
Is there a refund?
Yes. Full refund within 30 days of purchase if your notices have not yet been mailed. Once a batch has gone to the post office, the mailing cannot be recalled; the refund terms at checkout say exactly when that happens.
Is this a subscription?
No. One payment. Your delivery archive does not expire. If new recipients are added later, that will be offered as a separate product; nothing renews on its own.
